About Flowframes

AI frame interpolation, made easy to find

Flowframes is a Windows application for AI-powered video frame interpolation. It analyses the motion between existing frames and generates new intermediate frames, turning 24 or 30 FPS footage into smooth 60, 120 or custom-frame-rate video. It is built around advanced models such as RIFE and runs the processing locally on your own GPU.

Why this site exists

flowframes.app is an independent resource for people who use Flowframes in real video, animation and gaming workflows. The goal is simple: one tidy place to download Flowframes for Windows and learn how to get the best results, from choosing a model to handling de-duplication and scene changes. The file we point to is the genuine Flowframes installer - nothing is re-packaged, wrapped in our own installer, or padded with extras.

Open-source donationware

Flowframes is distributed as open-source donationware rather than a subscription product. New builds are released to supporters first, which helps fund continued development and testing, and the complete source code stays available to everyone. The latest early-access build is available to donors - you can support development and get the newest version through the developer's Patreon.

The project and how to help

Flowframes is open source, so you are free to read, build and improve the code. If it saves you time, the most valuable thank-you is to pitch in: visit the official Flowframes repository on GitHub to star it, file an issue, improve the docs, or sign on as a contributor. The underlying AI models - RIFE, DAIN, FLAVR and XVFI - are the work of their own research and open-source teams.
